Wallace Henry Rochon passed away peacefully at Belvedere Heights, on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Age 91 years.

Beloved husband of the late Shirley Anne Rochon (Salt) for 66 years. Dear father of Butch and his spouse Sandra; Sandi Ireland and her husband Jim; Larry and his wife Dale; Mike and his spouse Aimee. Loving Grandpa of Nichole (Chris), Monique (Jason), Richard (Megan), Curtis (Jenn), Heather, Chloe, Miya, and Braden. Loving great Grandpa of Tyler, Emily, Justine, Tanner, Nathan, Jessie, Avery, Cody, Ivy, Travis and great great Grandpa to Oakley. Loving brother of the late Bert, Laura, Tom, Carl, Mae, Ethel, and Irene. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Cremation has taken place.

Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Thursday, June 30th at 1:00 P.M. Reception to follow at St. Peter’s Knights of Columbus Hall.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre, OSPCA Muskoka, or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

In the 40 years working at Parry Sound Home Hardware I had the privilege to get to know both Wally & Shirley and their sons.

RIP old friend from Victory School days when Miss virgo got you to give me the strap in 1941/42 when we were in grade 3. We often joked about that in our senior years. God bless you Wally

Wally has a special place in my heart. He was so friendly to me and we shared good times and conversations at Larry & Dales cottage.

I’ll always remember the time he was on his way back to the sauna bench with his favorite no beer in hand. As he passed by with a big smile he did a jiggy jig dance…. ahhhh the laughter!

I have such lovely memories of Wally sharing the front of the boat with a thermos and a radio playing enjoying the sunset while hoping to land a fish. His sense of humor and kindness is not forgotten.
Your Mom and Dad were outstanding people. My family and I were blessed to spend some time with them.
