SANDRA CRAWFORD

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Jean Crawford at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Friday, June 10th, 2022. Age 62 years.

Sandra had a short but courageous battle with cancer and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Pre-deceased by her parents Wilfred and Joan Crawford. Loving sister of Brenda, Dale, and Brian and his wife Tina. Also remembered by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Raised in the village of McKellar, Ontario, Sandra left a lasting impression on those around her. She was known for babysitting the local youngsters, many years of being Post Mistress in McKellar and Parry Sound, and for her beautiful crochet work.

A celebration of Sandra’s life will be announced at a later date.

Sandra’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at the West Parry Sound Health Centre for the excellent care received by their sister.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre (Palliative Care) would be appreciated.

As I read the many condolences for Sandy's family, I realized how much she impacted her friends in McKellar. She was a warm and gentle lady and reminded me of her Mom Joan. Her sense of humour was amazing snd reminded me of her Dad Wilf. Sandy fought a battle and now can rest. Go rest high on that mountain.
