PIERCESON KENNETH CARGILL

Note: Above Date refers to the Celebration of Life.

Pierceson Kenneth Cargill died in London Ontario on December 13th 2007 in his 92nd year. He was the proud father of Janet Stevenson of London Ontario and the proud grandfather of Connie Cargill and Miran Kert of Markham Ontario --- all of whom will miss him greatly. Predeceased by his wife Hazel Ellis Cargill in 2000 his son Pierceson Ellis Cargill daughter Holly Jane Cargill and 5 of his 6 siblings he is survived by his youngest sister Lorraine Toth of Florida. Formerly described by his wife as a rugged individualist his indomitable spirit and determination enabled him to live independently for the past 7 years assisted by the wonderful support of his dear friend Maria Lombardy of London Ontario.
His avid approach to physical fitness coupled with a disdain for pills and his concerted efforts to retain his mental acuity greatly enhanced his well-being. He was a kind empathic man whose approach to life despite his blindness touched and inspired others. He will be fondly remembered by his good friends at The Gainsborough and his trademark groaners will be missed. He would want Dr. Susan J. Patel to receive his special thanks for her diligence in sustaining his independence and for providing such outstanding medical support. He was very grateful to the Extendicare nursing staff especially Nelly and Jennifer for their excellent proactive and professional care and to Cheryl Wally and Rosa in particular for their sensitive personal care. Those wishing to honour his memory may do so by making a
contribution to a church or charity of their choice.

A Celebration of PiercesonĂs Life will take place Saturday April 26th 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Logan Memorial Chapel.
