Condolences

We remember Phil as the tall skinny dock kid at Sound Boat Works, and then as he matured into the tall skinny guy who always turquouse shorts (he assured us he had several pairs), then the proud tall skinny husband and father... always quick with a smile and a helping hand.

Phil was the little brother of my best friend, Steve, and he was my next door neighbour. Phil was always around, whether it was riding bikes, playing road hockey, skating, swimming at the old town beach, hanging out in the Sabourin’s basement, or out on Georgian Bay in their boat. I remember Phil as happy, smiling and fun. I didn’t know Phil as an adult, but I imagine he was much the same. Steve, and Sandra and Rachel and families, I am so sorry for your loss, and I and my family send you our deepest sympathies at this tragic time.

So sorry for your loss Sandra and Rachel. Hopefully Phil has a beer glass that never empties and a large print laptop that never needs charging.
