We are so sad to hear of Norma's passing. Autumn was excited to meet her. We will think of her whenever Autumn is swimming, because she will learn to swim in a gift from Norma. I will think of her whenever I learn a new anishinaabemowin word, something I've been trying to do and she always tried to help me with finding resources. We can't be at the funeral because the drive is a little bit too much for a 2 month old, but we will take some moments on that day to remember just how kind and special Norma was.

-Gillian Cluroe and baby Autumn

Often growing up we attach ourselves to other families they are like second parents, moms and dads. Norma and Ralph were like that to me. I had a second set of siblings and a second home that was safe and welcoming. Norma, connecting back with you and family these past years will be experiences I will cherish for the rest of my life.
