Nellie Mary Salem passed away peacefully with family by her side, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, on Tuesday, January 10th, 2017. Age 93 years.

Predeceased by her husband Fred Salem, and by her infant son Charles. Loving mother of Margaret Salem-Matthew and her husband Dr. Keith Matthew; Catherine and her husband Tom Atchison; Michael Salem and his wife Patricia; Mary Salem Charette and her husband Maurice Charette; Colleen and her husband Carl Lotz; Sadie and her husband Joe Reid; and John Salem and his wife Franca.

Dear grandmother of Daniel Matthew (Leona); Pamela Muma (John Paul); Nicolas and Ilana Salem; Marissa and Maurice Jr. Charette; Christopher Lotz (Nadia); Christy Crestwell (Greg) and Carrie Lotz; Matthew and Candice Kalas (Dave); Christien, Mattais, and Arianna Salem. Great grandmother of Michaela and Alaina Muma; Jayne Crestwell; and Charles Kalas.

Dear sister of the late Najla Antoun Salem. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Resting at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound (705-746-5855) where friends will be received on Friday, January 13th, from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M., and then to Holy Family Church, Britt, on Saturday, January 14th from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. Funeral Mass to be celebrated in the Holy Family Church, Britt, on Saturday, January 14th at 1:00 P.M.
