Condolences

I remember when I first met Mike, I was at a Legion convention and it was my very first one. I was so nervous and didn't know too many people. He instantly made me feel at ease and made me laugh so hard I almost spit out my water. I will miss you my friend. God Speed.

I was in the PSHS Concert Band with Mike. A lot of us were - hello, Norm, is that you?...

He was billeted with me on a Band trip to Vancouver. He got stomach cramps. Our young billet said don't ever eat my mom's chili!

Fond memories. We will miss him. My condolences to his large community.

Mike was always such a ray of sunshine. Our memories are of a fun good hearted man. We spent the morning of the Kelly Shires pancake breakfast with him at Bass Lake. His generous spirit made the work easy. He will be missed. We will carry his memory in our hearts.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I have many fond childhood memories of Mike, Johnny, JoAnn and I at the trailer, riding in the Dune Buggy, wild and free while his dad (my Grandpa) drove us along the hilly and winding dirt roads. We swam, we played, we made many great memories... We lost touch for a while but reconnected recently after his father (my Grandfather's) passing. I am so glad we did, I missed his happy fun loving nature. I wish we had more time to connect again on this earth. You will be missed. Rest in Peace Mikey. Until we meet again xo

Mike was a valued member of the Georgian Bay Winds (clarinet) and brought a real sparkle to the band, keeping many of us in a state of quiet hilarity. We will all miss him greatly.

Mike was such a big personality and such a great teaser. He was my husband's favourite part about our Family Christmases. One year, my mom had decorated our bathroom with a bunch of Santa figurines. Mike had turned them all around so they wouldn't see him pee (and to tick off my mom, his cousin). We all still laugh about this every year. You will be missed cousin Mike.
