MAX STILSON

Max Stilson passed away on February 28th, 2015 at the age of 27.

Max was born in Calgary, Alberta but grew up in Parry Sound. He moved to Toronto after high school to attend Humber College and lived there for several years before returning to his hometown.

He was the beloved son of Bob and Ursula, and cherished brother to Maggie (Richard), Adam (Shannon) and Sam (Heather).

Max was witty, intelligent and had a uniquely generous spirit. He was always willing to stop and talk or lend a hand to any person, from any walk of life, old friend or new. He greeted everyone with the same bright smile, his trademark dimples and a twinkle in his eye.

Though his life was short, Max was able to see the world, having traveled across Canada, Europe and the UK. He was a voracious reader with an unwavering curiosity that led him to develop a wealth of knowledge in many areas.

Above all, Max loved to spend time with his family and friends, sharing stories and memories and cherishing the moments spent with his young nephews Henry and Theo.

Max, you will be deeply missed by all of us but you will remain forever in our hearts. “Night!”

A viewing will be held on March 7th at the Logan Funeral Home from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Max’s memory can be made to the CAMH foundation in Toronto (supportcamh.ca).
