LEN LADD

Lenard Edwin James Ladd passed away peacefully with family by his side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Sunday, June 4th, 2023, in his 85th year.

Pre-deceased by his parents Edwin and Bertha (Brear) Ladd. Forever loved by his wife Darlene Knechtel. Loving father of Dee Dee Fisher (Calvin), and step-father of Rachel Ball (Pat), and Bob Caryn (Kimberly). Cherished grandpa of Madison and Colby Fisher and Kyle and Andrea Caryn. Dear brother of the late Hazel Wager (Jack).

As was Len’s wish, cremation has taken place.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Len lived life to the fullest! Driving truck was his passion; Len drove for Tudhope Cartage in the winter and Wayne Hall Construction in the summer. When not driving truck, Len enjoyed fishing and hunting at Maple Island.

A special thank you to Dr. Honsinger and all the nurses at the West Parry Sound Health Centre in acute and palliative care.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer Society Muskoka or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

I'm so sorry to hear of Len's passing. He was always so kind to me. I got such a kick out of him and my dad...they'd park in each other's driveways for an hour to chat and then follow up again on the phone. I imagine they are hanging out again talking trucks and drinking coffee. Keeping you all in my thoughts.
