Larry (Lawrence) Alfred Ponomorenko passed away peacefully with family by his side, at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024. Age 70 years.

Beloved husband of the late Kathy Ponomorenko (Patton). Loving father of Sasha Ariganello and her husband Mike. Dear brother of the late Donna Ponomorenko. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Carolyn Fehr, and by his niece Sarah (Brian) and their daughters Kate, Davis and Nancy, and by his niece Ashley, and nephews Jacob and Jesse.

Cremation to take place.

A Celebration of Larry’s Life will take place at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound, at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 10th 2024. Friends will be received prior to the Service from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.
Reception to follow.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (Lyndhurst Centre) would be appreciated.

Sadly, I was reminiscing about Larry the other day in a good way. When I was a punk, I thought he was a gosh darn cool guy. Friendlier than a pickpocket. Always had nice things to say. Jo and Don were extra cool too. RIP old friend.

Sorry to hear of Larrys' passing. I met Larry once I got to high school.He was always a nice guy . I remember when his father owned a pool hall on Bay St. Sincere condolences to family and friends.
