Karen Beckingham passed away on Thursday, November 17th, 2022.

Predeceased by her husband Rob Hiscock. Loving mother of Erin (Jackson), and predeceased by her son Kenny. Cherished Grandma of Lennon. Dear daughter of Edith and Bill. Sister of Cathie, Joanne, Jeannie, and Mark (Theresa). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held at her “Happy Place”.

Donations in memory of Karen may be made to Hospice West Parry Sound.

To all the family my heart goes out to you all. We were classmates in our youth, hung out downtown as was the thing to do as teenagers. Karen was always so much fun to be around. Great laugh, heart of gold. Very fondly remembered .

Dear Erin and family, my heart hurts for you all. Although I only met your Mom once, I had heard so much about her from Julie and she was every bit as wonderful as Julie said. We had such a good time at her cottage and her thoughtful gift basket to us when we arrived will be cherished. She will be so very missed.

I am so shocked and sad to hear of the passing of Karen. She was my great friends younger sister, my seat mate on the bus ride to Parry Sound, my neighbour in Don Mills, our bar keeper at Bass Lake. God speed. 🙏

I’m so sorry to hear about Karen’s death. She had the kindest soul and biggest heart. My dad loved her and thought the world of her as well(Bill Hughes). I will forever remember her beautiful bright smile and her personality which brought out the best in everyone.
