JOY WARNHOLTZ

It is with great sadness, respect, and love that the family of Joy Marie Warnholtz (nee: Bosley) announces her peaceful passing at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Friday, December 9th, 2022. Age 89 years.

Joy is now in the loving company of her cherished husband and best friend, William ‘Bill’ Warnholtz (predeceased 2011). Predeceased by her cherished parents Marcil Bosley (1981), and Lena Bosley (2009). Loving mother of Gay Tilson and Rob Corris. Cherished grandma of Tammy (Sherman), and James (Jessica). Adored great grandma of Nathan, Nikolas and Lyla. Dear sister of Judy (Ernie), and the late Herman (2019). Lovingly remembered by her nephew David Dietrich (Bernice), neighbours, and friends.

Joy's work ethic was matched only by that of her mom’s; they worked side by side in the kitchen at Camp Ak-o-mak. In Joy’s later years, she drove school bus, safely bringing children home. She loved being in the outdoors with her best friend, Bill, hunting and fishing. Together, they ran a successful bait business for many years. Above all, Joy loved visiting her great grandchildren, Nate, Nik and little Lyla.

We know Joy's mom and the angels are already dealing the euchre cards and they better not miss a trick!

Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Belvedere Heights and the West Parry Sound Health Centre for their excellent care and compassion.

As was Joy’s wish, cremation has taken place. A private family service and interment at Sylvan Acres Cemetery will be held in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. #394, Dunchurch, would be appreciated.

Condolences

Gay, Rob and families....please accept our deepest sympathies. Joy always made sure there was someone home when she dropped off the boys...sometimes she had to make two trips. She was a special person, dedicated to her job and neighbors. May you have the support of friends and family as you get through these days. :(💐💐

Day by day we will let go of the loss but we will never let go of our love. Our family is strong and we are by your side forever. I miss my sister.

I'm pretty sure Joy was my bus driver from Whitestone Lake Public School out into the bush where I took piano lessons at someone's home. She was perky and memorable. My condolences to the family.
