My deepest sympathy to all of John's family. John was a honest genuinely good man and it was a privilege to get to know him while working at Parry Sound Home Hardware. It was during this period that one could see his dedication to his family and his steadfast belief in doing what was right. We were shocked to receive this sad and unwelcome news. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Raili and family, thinking of you all at this difficult time.
I feel indebted to John and his parents Norman and Isobel who were responsible for me moving to Canada in 1967 for which I will always be grateful. John was a delight to work for/with and we had many great times and laughs during the summer of '67. He even spent Christmas in the UK with my family that year. Over the past 57 years we remained in contact across the miles and enjoyed many mutual updates.
A fine man who will be greatly missed.
