JOHN BOYD

It is with great sadness the family of John Miller Boyd announce his passing with his family at his side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on June 9th, 2023, after a struggle with dementia. Age 84 years.

Beloved husband of Jean Boyd for 62 years. John leaves behind daughter Fran Dromisky and her husband Joe; and son Jeff Boyd and his wife Jacquie. Adored Grandpa to Sean Doherty and his wife Lisa, Cameron Boyd, and Casey Boyd. Dear Great-Grandpa John to Ainsley, Ava and Hudson. Dear brother of Mary Piche and her husband Garry; and sister-in-law Fran McCarthy and her husband David. John will be remembered by his first cousins Helen Holmes and Jim Miller. Also remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held privately.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation https://wpshcf.akaraisin.com/ui/inmemory/donations/start would be appreciated.

Condolences

Jeannie, I just heard about John's passing and wanted to send you my sincerest condolences. By chance on Sunday, I found a photograph of you, John, Mom and Dad, and Jim Rowney at a Bobby Burns dinner and smiled at all of the memories I had of our families. Please know that I think of you often and I will pray for peace for your family. Love you and miss you.
