Joan Hannon (Briggs) passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Saturday, April 8th, 2017. Age 96 years.

Beloved wife of the late Peter for 67 years. Loving mother of Carol, Susan, Sheila, Catherine (Rob), Paul (Kelly); Karen (Kelly), Patricia, and Janet (Michael). Dear “Grandma” of Peter, Josh, Hannah, Emma (Daniel), Jesse (Holly), Leah, Joel, Jake, Christopher (Stephanie), Justin (Kerry-Lee), Meagan (Wilson), Carolyn (Martin), Erin (Joseph), Nathan, Jessika, Kate, Liam, Sean, and Kyle. Great “Grandma” of Joseph, Felix, Kora, Adair, Elijah, Pippa, Harriet, Atticus, Max, Ben, and Amelia. Dear sister-in-law of Doris Hannon Brown. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Celebration of Life will be later in the spring.
