James Conwell Shaw went to be with his Lord and Saviour peacefully at home on Monday, September 19th, 2016. Age 89 years.

Beloved husband to his wife and partner of 65 Years Doris Evelyn (Alm) Shaw. Dear father of Robert and his wife Sharon; Janet and her husband John; Jonathan and his wife Brenda; Timothy and his wife Pamela; Loving grandfather of Les Reynolds, Jeff Shaw, Jennifer Tait, Elena Haskell, Amanda Shaw, Conwell Reynolds, Adam Shaw, Stephen Shaw, Katherine Shaw, Jesse Reynolds, Jordan Shaw, Victoria Shaw, Laura Shaw, Katrina Shaw, Catherine McGeorge, Lydia McGeorge, Jeremy Shaw, and Jason Shaw. Lovingly remembered by his 8 great grandchildren Dear brother of the late Betty Sweeny. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his many colleagues and friends at Shaw Almex Industries.

James’ life was marked by many accomplishments in the business world including the company he founded with his wife Doris, Shaw Almex Industries. However his passion in life was for Jesus Christ. This was evidenced by his leadership roles in the Gideons, Peoples Church, Christian Nationals Evangelism and as an Elder at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
