I met Jean at St. Andrews, 20 years ago, one of the sweetest, genuine, kindest, most loving woman I have ever met. Her smile was contagious and warmed your heart, she was such a woman of God. You will be dearly missed sweet Jean. I feel blessed to have known you.

We are so sorry to hear that Jean has passed, such a terrible loss for your family and the community. The kindest, most generous neighbour, always looking out for those around her. Our family enjoyed gifts of her fresh baked shortbread and her attempts to teach us the skill to make our own. She will be truly missed.
Who is going to look after the old people now?

I grew up on William Street as a youngster and I practiced law on William Street for 27 years. During all those years, Jean Milne was loved, admired and appreciated by many like me who knew her for the fine example she provided to others during the living of her life. I believe I may have watched TV for the first time in Jean and Andy's home. My condolences to her husband Andy and all her family.
