Helen Mackie (Stewart) Blanchard passed away peacefully, at Lakeland Long Term Care, on Sunday, December 7th, 2014. Age 92 years.

Beloved wife of the late Bernard “Bing” Blanchard.

Loving mother of Isobel Jones (husband the late Gerald); Jim and his wife Judy; Ron and his wife Penny; Colleen and her husband Dean Harris; Marion and her husband Terry MacLeod; Susan and her husband Mike Lee; and Christine and her husband John King.

Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Jody, Jeri-Lyn, Jennifer, Jana, Mike, Mark, Jeff, Chris, Caitlin, Kyle, Nicole, David, Logan, and Reagan. Dear great Nana of eighteen.

Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Resting at St. James the Great Catholic Church, MacTier, where friends will be received on Tuesday, December 9th, between the hours of 7:00 – 9:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass at the Church on Wednesday, December 10, at 11:00 A.M.

Interment MacTier Union Cemetery in the spring.
