Frances Mabel Smith (WWII veteran) passed away peacefully at Lakeland Long Term Care, with family by her side, on Sunday, May 11th, 2014. Age 89 years.

Beloved wife of the late Howard Smith. Life partner of the late Horace Tudhope. Loving mother of Susan and her husband Scott; David and his wife Karen; Terry and his wife Shari; and Peter and his wife Debra. Dear grandmother of Dana, Robin, Scott, Kris, Meagan, Shane, Patrick, and Lily. Lovingly remembered by her nine great grandchildren. Dear sister of Donald and the late Tommy, Howard, and Dorothy. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial Mass to be held at St. James the Great Roman Catholic Church, MacTier, on Wednesday, May 14th at 2:00 P.M. Visiting prior to the Mass from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Reception to follow at the MacTier Legion.

Interment MacTier Union Cemetery.
