Fausta Takayama passed away peacefully at Lakeland Long Term Care on Friday, October 27th, 2023. Age 89 years.

Beloved daughter of the late Shushin and Kame Takayama. Loving mother of Mary Calabrese. Cherished “Oba” of Miryan Rutledge (Matthew); Grace Castro; Gary Castro (Francesca Tocci); Lucy Castro (Roger Pupo Riveron); and Marina Calabrese. Adored “Oba” of Alessandra, Anthony, Adrianna, Adrian, Diego, Manuel, Luna, Kimora, and Roger Jr. “Panchito”. Dear sister of Hideo Takayama, Hideko Ibanez, Katsuko Takayama, Vincent Takayama and the late Richard Takayama, Victor Takayama, and Nobuko Velasquez. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home (705-746-5855), 81 James Street, Parry Sound, on Monday, October 30th from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. A Celebration of Fausta’s Life will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 30th at 2:00 P.M. Reception to follow.
