Elmar Dambergs, member of the the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, passed away at home, on Thursday, September 11th, 2014. Age 89 years.

Beloved husband of Raili. Dear brother in law of Mirko; and Iris and her husband Chester. Fondly remembered by his niece Sonja, his nephews Paul and Peter, and his other relatives in Latvia.

Elmar was an accomplished artist and an editorial cartoonist for both Parry Sound and Latvian newspapers. His work has been published in both Latvian and English.

Cremation.

A Memorial Service for Elmar will take place at a later date.
