DOROTHY RUSCOE

Dorothy Doreen Ruscoe (née Holmes) passed away peacefully, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on January 29th, 2023. Age 98 years.

Beloved wife of the late John Arthur “Bun” Ruscoe. Dear mother of Janet Lawson (Aubrey) (former late husband David Lawson); and Warren (Lynn) Ruscoe. Cherished grandmother of Leslie Anne Lawson (Russ), John Lawson (Shawntel), Jenna Perry (Martin), Curtis Ruscoe (Brad), and Sean Ruscoe (Josianne). Great-grandmother of John and Colin Perry. Dearly missed by Lynda Ruscoe. Dear sister of the late Eleanor Homewood, Clarence Holmes, Herbert Holmes, and Douglas Holmes. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A special thank you to Dr. Witt and Dr. Anderson for their support and caring of Dorothy.

Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home (705-746-5855), 81 James Street, Parry Sound, on Saturday, May 27th, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.

A Service in Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 27th, at 11:00 A.M. Reception to follow.

Private family interment Carling Cemetery in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Hospice West Parry Sound, or the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
