Cecil Stanley Mymko passed away peacefully with family by his side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020. Age 83 years.

Beloved husband of Carol for 57 years. Loving father of Jennifer (Mymko) Bishop and her husband Bruce; and Jill Mymko. Cherished Papa of Joel and Graeme; Nicholas, Jacob, and Ava. Son of the late John and Anne (Syrnyk) Mymko, of Dauphin, Manitoba. Dear brother of Doris Balak, Shirley Kluchinsky (Al), Elsie Cook (late Malcolm), and the late Peter Mymko (late Julie). Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Cec was a long-time employee and manager of the Parry Sound A & P. He was an active volunteer and a member of the Parry Sound community.
Cec was an avid curler, golfer, gardener, a member of the Parry Sound Anglers and Hunters, and the Old Mill Hunt Club. He was also a Past President and long standing member of the Masonic Lodge, and the Lions Club. He loved boating, music and playing guitar. Cec loved spending time at the cottage, as it was a place to gather with his children and grandchildren.

Cremation. A private family service will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, A celebration of Cec’s life will be held when it is safe for family and friends to gather.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre, or the Parry Sound Lions Club would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear the sad news.I worked at A&P as a teenager and can honestly say that Cecil was a great boss . When I started a family of my own and became an electrician he never forgot who you were when in shopping.I am proud to have known him .

We are so sorry to hear of Cec passing.
He was always a happy, fun person to be around. He will be missed.

My favourite memory of Cec was his radiant smile.

Carol, Jennifer and Jill..we are so saddened by the news of Cec's death. We have lost so many special people during the past year...and now Cec. Although we never knew him well...he was such a friendly man...warm and outgoing..always a smile ...warmth exuded from him. Your family have had so much to deal with over recent years and you have been very strong and stoic through it all. How nice it would be to be able to have personal contact with you during this time of loss. We send you mental hugs and warm wishes for the days ahead.

Our deep sympathy to all the Mymko family. We remember being so well served by Cec in the Parry Sound A and P over so many years. He was a wonderful presence there with that great big smile.

Hi Carol, Jennifer and Jill. We are truly sorry to hear of your loss. Cec will be missed by many many people for sure. None more than you guys, and maybe my dad. Dear Carol....so sorry to read about your husband Cec’s passing. Thinking of you and sending a hug. Hope to see you before too long.

We are very worry for your loss. I have fond memories of fishing with Cec on mill lake and visits to the cottage on Bell lake. He was truly was larger than life and one of the friendliest and outgoing people I've known. He gave back to his community through his involvement in several great volunteer and community groups. We have all lost someone special.
