Bob was born in Burma (Myanmar) at Kengtung to Missionary parents - one Scottish the other Canadian. He attended a Public School in Wales from the age of eight. He was a keen athlete and in his teens he was on the Wales Rugby Team that bested Scotland and England. Because of the war he was detoured to Canada when there was no passage to England for his father on his furlough. Bob finished his degree at the U of T enlisted in the Navy and brought home to Canada his Irish bride Joan. They resided in Toronto where Bob worked in the Dairy Industry which took him to many countries until his retirement at Lake Joseph and for the past 11 years in Parry Sound - at the Golf Course.

Bob passed away at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Tuesday December 27th 2011. Age 91 years.

Beloved husband of Dora Logan and the late Joan Telford. Loving father of James of Bracebridge; Kate of Toronto; Ken and his wife Sharon of Newmarket; and Susan of Parry Sound. Dear ëBobbyí of Cavan Erin Alexandra Giacomo and grandfather to Adam Ryan and Claire. Dear brother of Margaret Macdonell of Toronto and the late Hudson Telford. Bob will be sadly missed by his other relatives the Logan family and his many friends.

A Celebration of Bobís life will take place at the Logan Funeral Home on Saturday December 31st at 1:30 P.M. Family will receive visitors on Friday December 30th between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 P.M.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
