Some of the happiest times in Ray’s and my life were spent in the company of Ken and Alice. Alice was always laughing and happy and had such a joy in spending time with friends and family. Rest in peace my good friend.

-Betty Nicksy

All of my childhood years Ken and Alice were there as neighbours and best friends of my parents, Ray and Betty Nicksy. When I think of Alice I just see her smile and hear her laughter. When Kevin joined our family he quickly became part of the fishing and hunting group that included Ken. Ken and Alice, you were always there, from our stag and doe to our wedding and all the years after, you were always some of our favourite people. Ken and family we will be thinking of you through this difficult time as we picture all of the great memories of times spent together. Alice you will be missed. Rest in peace and comfort. It is with great sadness that we would like to extend our sincere condolences to the entire Stewart family. Alice was a wonderful lady and a very precious friend to our family. I have fond memories of her over the years as a nurse at the Wright Clinic, but even fonder memories of Alice and Ken’s friendship with my parents and our family. They had the BEST times together and I was fortunate enough to have been a part of many of these times at our home, your home and especially Mill Lake cottage. When I think of your mom I picture her cooking in her kitchen where she would be hosting a get together, or sitting on our cottage deck with a great smile surrounded by friends and laughter. I loved our talks together about nursing and family. She was certainly very proud of all of you. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers as we ask for God’s blessings upon her and grieve her loss xo
