Agnes Marie Horne (Rochon) passed away peacefully with her children by her side at Belvedere Heights in Parry Sound on Monday, November 30th, 2020. Age 92 years.

Loving wife of the late Ralph for 42 years. Mother of Gary Horne and his wife Sandy of McDougall; and Karen Cornell and her husband Don of Newmarket. Loving Nanny to Mike (Heather); Steve (Sarah); Chris (Alison); Ryan (Lisa); and Kellie (Billy). Great grandmother of 8. Dear sister of Theresa and the late Lionel, Cecile and Louis. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Dora Rochon.

Agnes spent many nights as a Registered Nurse at the Parry Sound General Hospital and Belvedere Heights Home for the Aged. She touched many people over the years with her kind and caring way. She is fondly remembered by many, especially those she met in her later years with stories that would make you smile.

A very special “thank you” to the staff at Serenity Seniors Residence and Belvedere Heights for their kindness, caring and compassion for Agnes as she travelled on her life’s journey.

Cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life will take place sometime in 2021 when it is more conducive for family and friends to gather.

If desired, donations may be made to Belvedere Heights, the Alzheimer Society, or the charity of your choice.
