James Frederick Morrissey passed away at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Thursday, November 23rd, 2017. Age 83 years.

Predeceased by his parents Fred and Marie Morrissey. Beloved husband of Elvera (Billinghurst) Morrissey for 61 years. Dear father of Mike Morrissey and his wife Valerie; Jim Morrissey; and Jennifer Watts and her husband Doug. Loving Poppa of Rebecca Morrissey; and Megan Morrissey (Will Strachan). Great Poppa of Damon and Zander Strachan. Dear brother of Joan Fortier, Robert Morrissey, Peter Morrissey and his wife Carol, and the late Patrick Morrissey (wife Annette of Gravenhurst). Jim will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

As was Jim’s request, there will be no Funeral Service. Cremation has taken place.

A special ‘thank you’ to Dr. Taylor Ferrier, and the staff at the West Parry Sound Health Centre.
