Sending our sincere condolences to Karen, Dee and the rest of the King family.
Words cannot express our true feelings of Loss.
Few people in this world were lucky enough to be able to say they knew Wendell.
Fewer were lucky enough to say Wendell was their business partner (Not just their salesman)
Even fewer were lucky enough to be able to say, Wendell was their friend.
I was truly blessed to be able to say Wendell was all these to me.
The feelings of sadness are compounded during this time of Covid. No warm embraces, no strong handshakes that let us all know that we are hurting from the loss.
Karen and the King family, please know we are sending warm hugs to you. Hoping it helps you cope through this difficult time.
We will be there for you in whatever way we can.
The passing of Wendell leaves a void, that will last a lifetime.
He truly was one of the Great Ones.

I have had the pleasure of working with Wendell for the past 18 years as part of the Diversco family. Wendell loved what he did, he took care of each and everyone of his customers and went above and beyond. I will forever miss his smile and chuckle, but it will remain with me forever. Wendell you were "one of kind", you will be missed.

Thoughts, Prayers and hugs to Karen and family.

Having known Wendell for almost 3 decades, I have felt honoured to be counted by him as a friend. His strength of character, integrity in every area of his life, along side his solid work ethic and passion for life, gave him a quite confidence in every situation whether it was work or play. He has been a true gentleman that welcomed others and made each person feel the sincere friendship bond he had with all of us.
Wendell's love and devotion to you, Karen, was a proud badge of honour he wore openly for everyone to see.
Although I will miss him as a collogue, my heart has broken for the loss of such a great friend.
Wendell's life has challenged me as it has so many others to value integrity and relationships above everything, to work hard and play hard, and to live life to its fullest everyday.
Karen, our thoughts and prayers are with, and for you.

To Wendell’s family and friends, we send our sincerest condolences for your loss. If you were fortunate, he touched your life and there is a part of your heart beating for him today. We can feel our hearts calling for his hand, for his smile, for his laugh. Our joyful memories of Wendell will be cherished and preserved.

We first met Wendell through Diversco. Soon thereafter, our business relationship took a backseat to friendship. We could trust Wendell to generate a quick, effective solution to any problem. He would acknowledge his mistakes and show you how to fix yours, rather than chastise you. He fought for you as if you were family.

Be honest, be kind, be humble, and love those around you with all of your heart. Walk as Wendell walked, and the world will be a more loving and caring place. Wendell will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered.

Rest in Peace, Wendell.

Our condolences and deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Wendell King.

The entire propane industry was shocked to here of the passing of Wendell too soon.

I remember when we started our propane company in Caledon, Wendell exemplified so much of his true character, patience, honesty, integrity, encouragement and shared his incredible knowledge of the product to support the relationship.
Wendell quickly became a trusted advisor, respected peer and friend.

With incredible respect. God bless the family and we hope to celebrate his life in the future.

He will be dearly missed.

It is with regret and sadness learning of Wendell's passing. Wendell was one of the first welcoming faces I met as I entered into the industry. Wendell was always warm and inviting, always quick to introduce and include others in industry conversations, and always made you feel good just being around him. Wendell's passing is not only a big loss to the industry, but also on a personal level with everyone he interacted with. I wish to the extended family and Diversco family, the absolute best in these difficult times.

-James Callow

Karen and everybody in Wendell's world, I send my deepest sympathies. Kirsten and I worked with Wendell for so many years that I can't even remember how many. He was an extraordinary guy! Even tempered; extremely knowledgeable; quick with a smile....just a great guy. I can't imagine what you're going through. Words certainly can't eliminate your loss, but I hope you find some solace in the fact that Wendell's "extended family (propane and otherwise)" loved him dearly and will miss him everyday. God bless.
