Shawn Francis Hazzard passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Sunday, March 14th, 2021. Age 54 years.

Beloved son of Frank Hazzard and Marge Loucks Hazzard, and step son of Connie Hazzard. Loving brother of Lori (Tom Stephens). Adored uncle of Kevin (Shay), and Leighann (Rob). Cherished great uncle of Oliver and Percy. Fondly remembered by his aunts Polly (the late Lorne), and Elaine (the late Gary), his cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.

We didn't share enough memories together, but you always took the time to reach out to me and give your best interest. I liked the jokes you would make and how you weren't afraid to be yourself. You had a great smile.
You took a wonderful interest in the kids and shared so much joy with them. I loved how you kept yourself entwined in our lives even though we are so far away.
Right now you are releasing Earth and are on your journey to leave us and head to the sky world. It is said that you are still here to say goodbye, and help us say goodbye too. To pass on, and give the Earth to future generations is so noble and important.
You can rest now, and know that we carry you in our hearts.
Wish we would have had more time together, but am grateful for what we did have.
