I swam with Ron almost every day in the summer for the past few years. He loved the Bay, and told me if I always stuck close to rocks, trees and water, I would have a good life. He was my friend, and I still consider him a friend in the present tense. I will miss him. I'm sorry for your loss.-Blythe

We both swam with Ron many times in the last couple of years down at our special spot looking out on the big sound. He was always full of advice on how to keep warm when the water got colder and we relied on his trusty thermometer to let us know what the water temperature was. Even when he wasn't able to swim anymore last summer he still came down to watch out for us to make sure we were okay. He was truly a faithful and kind friend. He will be missed greatly. We are so sorry for your loss.-Kathy & Mike Morrison
