NORM HILL

Alfred Norman Hill passed away peacefully at Belvedere Heights on Monday, November 25th, 2019. Age 101 years.

Reunited with his wife, the late Pauline Hill. Loving father of Holly Cascanette (Kevin Whetham); and Brian Hill and his wife Judy Feller. Loving grandfather of Candice, Brittney, Celine, and Leighton. Dear brother of the late Kay Merritt. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Belvedere Heights for their care of Norm over the last years.

Norm was still waterskiing at 75, and rode a personal water craft at 99. He had his pilot’s license, loved downhill skiing, and was a great golfer. He loved boating, and going to the rink to watch figure skating with Holly coaching. He loved Holly and Brian and his grandchildren so much. He welcomed Kevin into the family with open arms.

In Celebration of Norm’s Life, there will be a Memorial Visitation at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound (705-746-5855) on Thursday, November 28th, from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Belvedere Heights, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Holly
I want to offer my deepest sympathy on your fathers passing. Over the years I truly enjoyed helping your Dad choose his gifts in the store at Xmas. He was a delight to chat with and quite the character. He will be missed. Please know my thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.
