MEGAN ASHAWASEGAI

MEGAN ASHAWASEGAI
White Eyed Eagle Woman

It is with great sadness that the family of Megan Genevieve Ashawasegai announce her passing at Sault Area Hospital, Sault Ste. Marie, on Thursday, September 16th, 2021. Megan was 32 years old, and had a beautiful and unique spirit and soul.

Megan has crossed over to be with all of her family members who have passed before her, and are greeting her on the other side with love and open arms.

Beloved daughter of Charlene and Bruce Ashawasegai. Cherished sister of Darcy, Clark, Quentin, and Aurora. Fondly remembered by her niece and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Megan was a daughter, sister, Auntie, cousin, niece, and friend: She held many titles but she was loved by all! Megan was a ray of sunshine who gave love in her smile and hugs. She leaves behind her heart-broken family, but know that she is not hurting anymore.

There will be a sacred fire at 420 Pickerel River Road, Pickerel. Megan’s family will receive visitors at the family home from Thursday, September 23rd, until the service on Friday September 24th, at 11:00 A.M. Please come and share your stories and laughter with Megan’s family. The Keeping of the Soul Ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 23rd, in the evening.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to assist the family with Funeral expenses would be appreciated.
