-Jon & JacquieOur entire family have fond memories of Mavis. For more than 25 years, Gordon and Mavis were cottage neighbours on Fitzgerald Bay. We shared many stories, chores, challenges, laughs and events and they became special people in our lives. Gordon and Mavis were honourary members of our family's Fitzgerald Bay Country Club. Visiting with Mavis following Gordon's death, we knew how deeply she missed him. And now we will miss them both - never to be forgotten.

-Karen BrissonLisa, I was sad to read of your Mom’s passing. Mavis was a high school friend and I now think of the time when her Mother read my tea leaves many years ago. Mavis always had a smile when we met on her days to town. Take care.
