-BRITT AND AREA FIRE DEPARTMENTMy husband, Andy, and myself would like to send our deepest condolences to you on the passing of Matthew. We remember the summer days he spent with our boys playing on the shores of Old Mill Island. Fishing off our dock, and playing in Jack's swamped boat on the shoreline. Both my boys saw Matt not long before Covid started. They met up by accident at in Sudbury, enjoying the night and talking about their younger years in Britt. Matt was so excited about his future on the rigs and looked to the future in a positive light. We are so sorry for your loss. We will have you in our prayers.

There are no words.
My prayers are with you.
As a young man who embodied effort and attitude, Matt made everyone around him a better person. He was always there to lend a helping hand and we can’t recall a time when he wasn’t cheerful. He visited us a few times at the cottage and was a grateful, polite young man. As an employee at the marina, he couldn’t do enough for you...he was always there to lend a hand and to assist in anyway possible.
May he Rest In Peace!
Our sincere condolences!
