Mary Ida McQuabbie passed away at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Saturday, May 1st, 2021. Age 62 years.

Beloved daughter of the late Willard ‘Bill’ and Hilda Maria McQuabbie. Loving mother of Tobias McQuabbie, Suzanne McQuabbie, Karla Barber, Desire McQuabbie, and the late Christina McQuabbie and Clinton McQuabbie. Cherished grandmother of Danyka Rivet, Kaitlynn Barber, Urijah McQuabbie, Raidyn McQuabbie, Alahzana Judge, Lucas McQuabbie, Niah Judge, and Crewe McQuabbie. Dear sister of Sandra Stone, Alice McQuabbie, Alfreda McQuabbie, Barbara McKinnon, Donna Stone, and the late Augustine Francis, Robert ‘Bill’, and Janet McQuabbie. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Cremation. A celebration of Mary’s life will take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

To Mary's family...I worked with Mary at the old Voyager in Nobel..always laughing...so much fun to work with...always kept us calm when we got so busy we didn't know which way to turn! Mary would just laugh and say they'll be gone soon!
We stayed friends and our meetings throughout life have always been happy. I will miss you my Friend......Patty

Mary and I always used to go out to Karaoke together and sing , she would often invite me up to her place for a visit and sleep over , I will always miss you Mary. RIP

I’ve known your mom for many years she was such a love and inspiration and her spirit was infectious to everyone in her vicinity. I know you guys are sad but I sure as heck hope you guys are happy to have been born into the presence of a living Angel. I love and I know your family does too. So please walk on with joy in your hearts knowing that your mom is back where she statrted, in the arms of Jesus and our father who art in heaven.

Mary & Bruce lived in a house on our property a good many years ago. She was a very spry happy person, always laughing. Even to this day she always stop to talk in our passing. You've gone to a good place Mary. Thinking of all the family, my sincerest condolences.

I’m so sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. I remember her always being so kind and caring and always laughing. Whenever I was back in Parry Sound over the years and ran into her, she would always stop to say hi. You are so lucky to have had her as your mom and know she will always be with you.

We have known Mary for years just in passing and the usual small talk. We thought of Mary as being a very kind hearted soft spoken person who always had a beautiful smile. Our condolences to her family.

Mary and l went to school together and she was such a good friend. I was amazed at her artistic abilities and she taught me so much in art.

At this special time, as I was wearing my Orange Shirt, my thoughts turned to Mary. She told me that I was her Fifth Foster Mother. She would sometimes drop in on us, either in Orillia or at Engeland on the French River. I remember being very impressed with her son and his diving. Mary was unforgettable. When she left our home, she left a note saying "You can't make a silk purse our of a sow's ear". To all of Mary's family and friends, I want to send my sincere sympathy. Ruth Mary Engel
