Mary Gwendolyn Winnifred (Thompson) Lawson passed away peacefully at Lakeland Long Term Care, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, February 20th, 2019. Age 80 years.

Dear daughter of the late Austin and Ena Thompson. Beloved wife of the late Eric Percy Lawson. Dear mother of Brian; Kenneth and his wife Leslie; Robert; and Laurie Lawson and her husband Richard Buttineau. Cherished Grandma of Kyle (Sarah); Daniel (Katie); Ashley (Justin); Andrea (Brandon); Teagan, McKenzie, Isaiah, Elijah, Magdalene, and Gabrielle. Great Grandma of Ava, and Reid. Dear sister of Betty Irwin, Arnold Thompson, Herb Thompson, Kenneth Thompson, and the late Marguerite Holmes, Roy Thompson, Irene Irwin, Doreen Irwin, Gerald Thompson, and baby Margaret. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mary Gwen’s life will take place at the Parry Sound Senior’s Centre on Saturday, May 11th from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M.
