Awe Joe, my heart goes out to you in such a time as this. You and Linda were so much fun to be with at the arenas wherever we would travel during the Shamrock games on the road. But, mainly at The Bobby Orr Community Center Rink. Both of you delighted Dave and I as we cheered our team on. When life collided with the death of your Linda, nothing will be the same for you and your family. Linda's contagious love for life will live well in your memories. Let her smile carry your heart to her often. My heart of compassion wraps prayers around you. May grace be evident in the faces of those who surround you as the journey continues on for you with the support of family and friends. Hugs from my heart to yours.

Dear Joe,
We are so very sad to hear of Linda’s passing. She was a wonderful lady who will be greatly missed. Those years that I worked with both Linda and yourself at the marina are part of my very good memories. I’ll never forget some of the life lessons she taught me. Know that she is now at peace and maybe even reconnecting with Rudy and Irene and her parents Millie and Jack! May God Bless her and you at this time.

Joe - Even though it’s been - what - a quarter century since you guys sold the marina, it’s still Linda’s welcoming, and enthusiastic! - smile and personality that I remember every time I arrive at Desmasdon’s after our journey from Detroit. She’ll always live in my memory. Best - Cleve

-Cleve Thurber

Dear Joe: We are so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. When we think of Linda, it’s always about seeing her smiling face, joyful, to anyone who dropped into the marina. Also, we loved getting a warm hug when she worked in the bakery department at Sobeys, and even a chance meeting with you and Linda at Orr’s Meats for breakfast was a happy memory. Our thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Andre and Susan Dempsey
