Passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on Friday, November 13th, 2020. Kenneth Ernest Burgoyne, aged 66, of Parry Sound, predeceased by wife Cindy (née Glenday) and mother Theda (née Beazley). Beloved brother of Catherine Mills (George) of Caledon and Brian (Anne) of Barrie. Survived also by his loving nieces, Angela Mills of Caledon, Claire Burgoyne of Toronto, Grace Beaumont (Iain) of Peterborough. Remembered also by other relatives and friends in Ontario, Quebec, and Newfoundland.

Ken loved all animals, especially cats, and the wildlife around his home. He was known in Parry Sound for his weekly card games and generously bringing pizza to folks around town. He was a gentle soul and will be greatly missed for his stories and willingness to help his loved ones, and those in need.

A big thank you to the Parry Sound and Sudbury hospitals for their dedication and care.

As was Ken’s wish, cremation has taken place.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Health Sciences North Foundation or the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.

Brian and Anne, we are very saddened by the loss of your brother Ken. Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of all your friends.

We will miss Ken greatly. Emails from Ken were always a joy to receive, whether they had tidbits of thoughtful wisdom or pictures of his friendly animal neighbours visiting his place for a snack. He was always up for a laugh and a good chat. Ken was ever so kind and his passing is a loss that will certainly be felt throughout the community. His obituary here says it all - he was always there to help those in need. Bogdan and I know this personally, since he did so much for my grandmother when she was in need. I'm grateful that we got to know Ken and deeply sad that he is no longer with us. Sending our deepest condolences for your loss.

So sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. He was always ready to lend a helping hand at our pancake breakfast and was a driving force at the monthly potluck in Orrville. He will be missed.

Ken will be missed. His commitment to the community through the organizing of pot luck dinners and assistance at community events at the Christie Community Center brought joy to may people's lives. A very caring person.

Ken was a good friend. Shortly after we bought our cottage on Maple Lake we met Ken and Cindy - they made us feel very welcome - we will definitely miss Ken and cherish the memories
