Katherine Laura Phillips passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 1st at her happy place, surrounded by her family and friends, in her 50th year.

Beloved daughter of Joyce and the late Brian Phillips. Loving partner of Fraser Lovatt. Cherished mother of Jaymi, Jenna (Kevin), Ashtyn, and loving Grammie of Connor. Dear sister of Sue, twin of Karen, Rob, and Bryanne (Nic). Katherine will be sadly missed by many aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, friends, and especially by her dog Coco.

Cremation has taken place.

Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound (705-746-5855), on Wednesday, August 14th, 2019 between the hours of 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Funeral Service will follow take in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 14th at 2:00 P.M. Reception to follow.

Donations to the family to assist with funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.

I knew Kathy most of my younger life up until I moved away from Parry sound about 20 years ago and all I can say from what I knew of her and what we did together as kids was that Kathy was an absolutely amazing person inside and out.
She was a person that everyone loved and got along with. She will be greatly missed by many. Now heaven has a perfect angel Rest In Peace Kathy

Kathy was very good friends with my older sister, Michelle during their late teen years. They spent a lot of time together experiencing life and having fun! As a result of their friendship our whole family got to know Kathy quite well. Kathy was always there for Michelle right up until she passed away. She was a great person who cared deeply for her friends and family and will be missed by many. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. Sending hugs to you all.
