My deepest condolences to family and friends at the time of Henry's passing. I grew up with Don and had the priviledge to meet Henry around the hockey arena and the house league teams in Parry Sound. He always had words of encouragement and offered any pointers to better your game. Hockey was everything and I was even recognized one year being the recipient of the Gibert Michel Memoral award and Henry presented it to me those many years ago. I cherish the memories we shared around the hockey rink for all my days. Thanks Henry for everything! Yoy will always be deeply missed, may you have your peace and see you out on the ice.

My deepest condolences to Henry’s family and friends
When I was growing up I was always around the arena with some friends and knew Henry from talking to him and hearing his side of things about the sport he loved.
He had a certain way of talking that you just wanted to be there beside him to hear everything he said and his sense of humour was very inviting.
Great man that touched many peoples lives.
Rest In Peace Henry you will be missed.

Henry was a good man known to all true Parry Sounders. He spoke his mind with honesty & sincerity, & was the type of guy that would go to bat for you. He always took time to stop & talk when you saw him on the street;& when you saw that mischievous look in his eyes you knew the wheels were turning, & you could expect some clever remarks that always had you laughing as you walked away. We were all blessed to have had Henry.

To all of Henry’s family & close friends, my thoughts & prayers are with you. But I want to say that even though he’s not right here for you to see & touch as he brightens your days, the love he shared & the countless memories he helped create will always shine brightly in your lives. And I’m sure that clever bugger of a prankster will find a way to keep playing tricks on us so we stay on our toes, while he continues to laugh & have fun...now while watching over us.

-Rob Shaw

Meeting up with Henry always meant that we'd enjoy a laugh or two. I'll miss bumping into him at local stores and talking about old times.
- Praying that he is happy in heaven now.
