-Patty ForbesHector was the kindest and sincerest person. If you ever had the opportunity to meet him, he always was so pleasant and kind. He awarded our son a bursary through the legion due to his grandfather being in WW2. I'll always be grateful. Our condolences to the family.
-Randy and Darlene BloomfieldMy Uncle Hector was an exceptional man who will be sorely missed by the ones that loved him most; Gurny and his wonderful daughters, and the rest of his family. But unlike most people, he will also be deeply missed by an entire community because of his dedication to public service and the town of Parry Sound. He loved Parry Sound. "God's country" he called it when we spoke, and I don't disagree. He was a perfect gentleman, a great friend to have, and respected by all who met him. He was lucky to find love again with Gurneth, and he was so happy and thankful for her. When we talked, he felt he was the luckiest man in the world to have Gurny with him, and he sounded the happiest I had heard him in a long time. As my Uncle, he was there for me, along with Gurny, through some of my darkest days, and they helped me immensley. I love ya bud. I admired you always. There is no replacing you.
