Very fond memories of Harvey. Two stand out: one I was very young and Harvey came to our house with a Christmas hamper. I was so impressed. The other was at Camp Madawaska he was practicing his horn and a massive moose came out to see him.
A very polite and quiet man. Let his actions speak for him. Rest my friend they are rejoicing in heaven for their soldier going home

Sorry to hear of Harvey’s passing. I highly valued and appreciated Harvey as a sterling Christian with a consistent witness and commendable commitment to God and The Salvation Army. His volunteer service was “second to none” and he gave his time and energies to his church service as though it were his paid work. I enjoyed ministering alongside Harvey and shared many laughs as well as more serious moments. He was most helpful in managing the expanding and growing ministries of The Salvation Army in the Parry Sound area. A great man whose passing will leave a vacuum which I trust others will seek to respectfully fill in honour of Harvey and in commitment to the Lord and His Church. Harvey, you have done well as a “good and faithful” servant. Thank you for enriching my journey and the journey of many. Now, Rest In Peace.
