Gloria Jane (Snow) Weber passed away peacefully, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Sunday, October 13th, 2019. Age 73 years.

Loving wife of the late Douglas Arthur Weber. Dear mother of Tim and his wife Joanne Nunn. Step mother to Kevin and his wife Tara Weber; and Dawn and her husband Daryl Walser. Loving “Nanny” of Jason, Kaytlin, Spencer, and Riley. Dear sister of the late Marvin (wife Cathie), and Meredith ‘Mitzi’, and sister-in-law of Ruth. Fondly remembered by Massoud, Marjan, Artimes, Artin, her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound (705-746-5855), on Saturday, October 26th, from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M.

A Service in Celebration of Gloria’s Life will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel, on Saturday, October 26th, at 10:30 A.M. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the West Parry Sound Health Centre (Palliative Care) would be appreciated.

I have many fond memories of Aunt Gloria. When I was a little girl I wanted to be just like her and remember trying to copy the way she walked, sat and held het hands. She was just so cool. It was a dream when she babysat me and my sister's and brother. She would take us to amazing places like centre island in Toronto and the zoo. My condolences to you Tim and your family.

Gloria will always have a special place in my heart. When I met Gloria back in 1974 I knew I’d found a very special friend and over the many years that followed that never changed. We shared many stories, laughs and tears and for that I am grateful. She will always be remembered.

Thoughts are with all family , “she’s small but she knows kung fu!” was one of the most accurate statements of how Gloria lived ! Didn’t take any thing from any body!! Yet so loving and caring at the same time ! She made a huge impact on mine and Tracy’s life ! Going to miss her very very much ! Sorry we can’t make it on the 26th! Gloria was a very funny lady, who was always sure to speak her mind. She always had a good word to say of everyone and was a frequent visitor to my mother, who really appreciated seeing Gloria. I will always remember her and her naming me "The Little Bulldozer, Peckle". You will be missed but rest peacefully. Brian and Charlene Bennison.

I will always remember Gloria, looking like the classy lady that she was, getting into her wee car in her little shoes that she loved. Gloria loved life, she loved her family, and she loved Doug. She said it as it was, and stuck to her guns.
