Douglas Frederick Nason (school teacher for over 25 years) passed away at Lakeland Long Term Care on Saturday, October 5th, 2019. Age 76 years.

Beloved husband of Lorraine for 50 years. Loving father of Allan and his wife Tammy Nason; Judy Rivers and her husband Al Cochrane, and Travis Nason. Dear Grandpa of Dylan, Hailey, Geoffrey, Vanessa, Alyssa, and Papa of Brittany and Jessica (Brian). Dear brother of Warren, Cheryl, and the late Rick. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Resting at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound (705-746-5855), where family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 8th, from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M., and on Wednesday, October 9th, from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.

Funeral Service will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 9th at 2:00 P.M. Reception to follow.

Cremation with interment at Foley Memorial Cemetery.

Our sincere sympathy to all the family in the loss of Doug. We have good memories of him from activities in the Foley community and of course from seeing him ride his bike so faithfully on 518 and OastlerPark Drive. That was very inspiring to see such discipline. Hopefully your years of happy memories with him will help with the sadness of his passing.
