Doug worked for Housing at our Isabella St location. I will forever remember his laugh, his deep caring and loving nature, his many hugs. A little story .. his workers were trying to limit his chocolate bar intake .. so .. they would look in his bag before he came to work .. Doug would come in and since I was reception he would show me that he had two chocolate bars that they didn't fine!! I would say "Doug .. please don't show those to me .. I know you aren't supposed to be eating them" he would laugh and he knew I was never going to tell anyone else. The last time I saw him he asked if I wanted a hug .. I said I sure did and gave him a hug and told him I loved him... and I did .. like my brother Mike said .. he is a bright star and he would love to be guiding people in their journey. I hope he has found Janet and they are hugging all he wants!
