Condolences

My distant uncle, courtesy of WWII who I was lucky enough to meet in person and stay connected through Facebook.

I remember being on the reservation, at one of the offices being introduced as Chuck’s niece. It felt strange yet I was so proud.

RIP uncle Chuck x

Today we sense that wandering place where spirits go before they rest. It's no dream but we're not awake; while families gather Mother's best.

It's the time when the veil is sheer, that our loved ones come to visit, and though they've gone they're standing near; free from time and space to listen.

So my loves, unpack those words; all those thoughts you never had said. Let helpers take them from this world. Leave joyous memories instead.

For when we feast, we think of you. When we laugh and smile, as well. For when the sacred fire grows, so too, does our love for you swell.

Journeying through that western door means you must leave us all behind, but we'll honor you evermore; uphold the lessons from your time.

Safe travels Chuck 🙏 💕

Have some great memories of us throughout the years. Jumping off the 'big' rock at Grandma Susan's was a childhood feat when we were at her home. You always were a great cousin. Always a smile when we met.
Sorry for your family's loss. RIP Chuck. Love Muriel Evenson🙏

Gone too soon, Chuck!

So sad to lose such a good person, friend, community member, volunteer. I got the chance to know Chuck for a relatively short time through his having volunteered for Community Support Services since 2018.

I was drawn to his intelligence and integrity from the start. I will miss his calm spirit, sense of humour, and our conversations about politics, leadership, and life in general. Grateful we got the chance to meet up last week, dear friend. So much respect.

My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Sincerely,
Laura

I was so pleased to have met my brother after not knowing about him in the earlier years.
This was kept from me for so long by my mother. Also Eileen did not know nothing about him either. So glad I made the effort finally in 1999/2000.
Long may he remains in my heart forever. RIP my little brother.Chuck.x
