Carol Marie McNaught (Stewart) passed away at Lakeland Long Term Care, with family by her side, on Monday July 18, 2022. Age 82 years.

Carol was the beloved wife of the late Harold McNaught. Cherished mother of Terry Emerson (Janice), baby Charlotte Emerson (predeceased), Tim Emerson (the late Laura) and Carrielyn McNaught Carlton. Special mother-in-law to David Carlton. Loving grama of Shane, William (Deanna), Andrew (Meagan), and Samantha (Eden) Emerson; and Sarah Emerson (Tanner). Adoring GG to her great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Jack and Rose (Payne) Stewart. Much loved sister of Roland (predeceased), Gloria, Marilyn, Donna and Rosemary. Fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews.

Carol was our mother.. beautiful, sweet, loving, soft-hearted, strong willed, tough, resilient...the backbone of our family.

Our family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to all the wonderful staff on Magnetawan at Lakeland. They treated Carol with respect, dignity and the utmost care. And also to Judy Michaud, her roommate, who became a dear and cherished friend to Carol.

Celebration of Carol's life will be held at a later date.
