Rest in peace my old friend. Events of recent years kept us apart but I cherish the many memories of time spent together in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

Chip, you took me under your wing when Percy made his journey. Many games of pool later, the student finally beat her teacher! My 24th birthday was the best time we had at the ole' Kipling Hotel, followed closely by the Jeff Healey concert at the Stockley Centre. My favorite was the ride we shared to the hunting camp, and the most wonderful story you shared with me. I'll treasure those memories, and carry you in my heart. But, the most notable was when you wanted me to meet one of your best friends. At the time I told you no, cause if it didn't work out, I'd be mad at you. I said, "If the good lord wants us to meet, then it will happen." Low and behold we met, and today we are still going strong 18 years later! See, you said, I told you he is a good guy. Thanks bro", your the best! Hugs to you both Casey and Jesse, you know where to find me.

Chip, I was sad to hear of your passing. I remember thinking of you as being one of my big brothers. When I was growing up - you were always around, and called my Dad - Hubert Tabobandung "Dad" too. I remember hearing you say how much he taught you about hunting, and about life. Sending lots of warmth, and love to your family and friends. Wishing you a good journey home to the ancestors. xo
