Johanna Elisabeth “Betty” Veerman passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, with her family by her side, on Sunday, November 4th, 2018. Age 90 years.

Beloved wife of Jan for 67 years. Loving mother of Mieke and her husband David Hutchinson, Kenneth and his wife Sonja Veerman, Joe Veerman, and the late Jackie. Dear Oma of Jesse (Steph), Amy (Jonathan), Joshua, and Sarah. Survived by her brother Peter Buttenaar. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, Church family, other relatives in Holland, and friends.

A sincere thank you to the nurses in the Palliative Care Unit at the West Parry Sound Health Centre for their excellent care of Betty.

Resting at the Logan Funeral Home (705-746-5855), 81 James Street, Parry Sound, where family and friends will be received on Thursday, November 8th,
from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 8:30 P.M.

Funeral Service will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 9th, at 11:00 A.M. Reception to follow.

Interment Sylvan Acres Cemetery.
