BETHEA BURDEN

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet Bethea Burden,
after a long, hard-fought battle with diabetes, kidney disease, and heart disease.
Bethea passed away on July 23rd, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, in Hamilton, Ontario. Age 65 years.

Loving wife of Roger Burden for forty-seven years. Dear mother of Tammy Nason (Allan); Trisha Jordan (John); and Tiffany Persaud (Ryan). Loving grandmother of Dylan Burden; Hailey, Geoffrey, Vanessa, and Alyssa Nason; Jonathan, Connor and Owen Jordan; and Amaya and Linaya Persaud. Great grandmother to Gage, Ivy, and Lucas. Survived by her brother Kristen (Skip) Johnson. Pre-deceased by her parents William and Olive Johnson.

Bethea also leaves a very large extended family, and a long list of loving friends – she will be dearly missed, and the world will not be the same without her. Bethea recently retired from the Home Care/CCAC office after over thirty years of dedicated service. Our sincere thanks to the long list of health care professionals who worked so hard to extend her life, while keeping her healthy and happy. You will remember Bethea because of her unique name and her sweet disposition.

As was Bethea’s wish, cremation has taken place.

A celebration of Bethea’s wonderful life will be held at the Parry Sound Golf and Country Club, on Saturday, August 25th, 2018, at 1:00 P.M.

If desired, donations to the Kidney Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association,
or the Shriners Hospitals for Children would be appreciated.
